History: He was born in a small desert village. Through the years after Gerard was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Gerard's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Gerard and his spouse have recently divorced.
