History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it; and someone believes him a fraud

He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: He was born into a rich family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now mingles about in high society.

She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and meet up once more with her childhood friend
