History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 10th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Rosamund alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Hugolina has worked very hard to control her curse. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Hugolina fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
