History: She was raised in a mountains tribe. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Barber. He became a Barber soon after.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Her gray eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: Oriel was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. Some 7 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Oriel never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

Motivation: Wants a kiss; and wants her loneliness to end

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She takes great joy in being the best Stableman in town.

History: Anne was born with her father's beautiful face. Like her father and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Stableman. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
