Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Ermina will drive conversation. The war was a terrible time for her, and Ermina does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Ermina was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She feels kind of lost in life.

History: Everard was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and wants to raise his children well

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Marshal born in the past three hundred years. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: Rosamund was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Marshal for the past few years.
