Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.
History: He was raised in a desert tribe. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Being a Architect kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: She got into the Courier business at a young age. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: She is a husky woman, who has a large yellow mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into her green robe. Her golden hair is heavily combed to the left. Her violet eyes are slightly larger than normal.
Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.
History: Beatrice was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Beatrice abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions.

He is portly but not overly obese. His black hair is matted, messy, and big. His blue eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.
Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. The war was a terrible time for him, and Kyle does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.
History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle.
