History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A gifted student she started as a Miner, but she got bored and became a Spice Merchant. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. Being a Mercenary kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Human companion (her 'brother'). She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Ploughman.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and balancing her hectic life and new ploughman responsibilities is difficult

Her shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for her due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. She has done her best to style her silver hair to look like a famous performer. She wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.

History: Gifted from a young age, Hugolina studied abroad. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Hugolina fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
