She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: Helen was born in the east. At a young age she loved to build and create. While she appears to be a normal Human, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: This man is tall and muscular. He wears a robe, a symbol of luck around his neck, and a shortspear on his belt. His chestnut hair, when down, is lengthy. His violet eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: He was born in a small desert village. Gerard liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gerard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: He is scrawny and has patchy chestnut stubble. He wears a brown vest and prefers tan and grey shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. He has a hunchback. His chestnut hair is still thick. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Shane wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of drow may trigger it at times.

History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. His parents were killed by drow in a raid when he was still a young child. The drow captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Shane was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the drow.

Motivation: Many drow want him driven away; and someone believes him a fraud
