Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: She was born in a small desert village. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She has dedicated herself to building a better trade route.

History: She comes from a rich western family. Through the years after Emma was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Emma's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Description: This light-skinned male is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. His moppish blonde hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady brown eyes.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Cartwright business.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it; and a deep hatred of orcs
