His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Miles is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She is witty, but her monotone delivery comes off as unnerving When triggered she is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. Agnes was born on a far northern desert where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Spice Merchant. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Carter. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Carter for hire.
