History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her childhood dream was to be a Animal Trainer, but she was a colossal failure. She has worked as a Shipwright like her mother before her.

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Oriel lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Brewer they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Architect, and she later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend; and she wants to meet her childhood hero

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and money/treasure
