Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Bellfounder. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He worked as a nervous Bellfounder and found it very stressful. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A gifted student he started as a Hunter, but he got bored and became a Spice Merchant. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Painter. She now owns her own business.

Personality: She is mildly Human supremacist, though she does not identify as such. She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: When she was but 6 years old her parents immigrated from the west. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
