His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Alex was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Ahlyssa was born on a far western desert where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Tanner. She's also a talented Navigator, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: To be a Navigator again.

History: Born to a Architect, her mother struggled to pay the bills. She moved out north to avoid the crime she committed. She has worked as a Glassblower like her mother before her.
