His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: Emmeline was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her mother.

History: Born in the west to a Engraver, Rosalind learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. In her 15th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Rosalind alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Engraver for hire.

History: Eloise was born in the south. At a young age she loved to build and create. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She found several beat up suits of armor and, cannibalizing spare parts, she put together a working one.
