He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Ella alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has dedicated herself to building a better village for her children.

History: Roger was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. Through the years after Roger was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Roger's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
