History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Unemployed. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and balancing his hectic life and new unemployed responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes giants are coming to abduct people. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help
