Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. The war was a terrible time for him, and Lewis does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Lewis alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage son.

History: Heather was born the youngest of three triplets. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature ceremonial dagger.

Description: A hulking woman with gigantic muscles, she prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for her hunting needs. Her hair is greying and her face has many wrinkles. She has gleaming, smiling violet eyes.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. Jacoba is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Because her father participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her mother from journeying north to reunite her family. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Scribe. He tends to his Scribe job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
