Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Barrister born in the past three hundred years. The war was a terrible time for her, and Ahlyssa does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Ahlyssa lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gifted student she started as a Dilettante, but she got bored and became a Barrister. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Brewer who has hired him part-time. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Brewer arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously.
