Description: This fat southern man has a bulbous nose and wears a worn and beaten armor. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His silver hair is cut short. His eyes are blue and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Dean is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Dean was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Dean abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Description: A 5'3" eastern man, he usually wears his green robe and has his sai always slung over his shoulder. He is bald on top and has large chestnut tufts of hair around his ears. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: Born in the east to a Ploughman, Gomory learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Gomory was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Gomory decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Ploughman for hire.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

Description: A moderately attractive man, he is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing grey cape and mantle trimmed with soft white waves gently in the breeze. He sports a long blonde beard, and similarly colored long hair. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: Rolf lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To unite with his brother; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: Alex hails from a village terrorized by drow. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Alex was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the drow.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west.
