History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Miller. After a long history of fighting, Cory and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Helen was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She worked as a nervous Mayor and found it very stressful. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and to protect her home

History: He got into the Painter business at a young age. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has achieved small success as a Painter.
