She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: Egelina lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. Some 6 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Egelina never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.
