Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and she feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Through the years after Giselle was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Giselle's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Giselle and her spouse have recently divorced.
