History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Heather was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.

To get what you want from life, you must take it. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: Percival hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his poetry career. Percival enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has never given up on his poetry dream.
