History: Gomory was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by gnolls. Sarah was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the gnolls.
