History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Slave Trader. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents enrolled him in a Paladin school at a young age so that he could practice his druidic talents. After a long history of fighting, Richard and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
