History: He got into the Scribe business at a young age. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. She is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with her Layabout father left her crippled. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Detective and was forced into it by her family; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and someone believes her a fraud

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing singing.

History: Born to a Fortune-teller, her mother struggled to pay the bills. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She has never given up on her singing dream.

Motivation: To end her boredom; and she seems to be bored by most things
