History: Born in the east to a Bowyer, Alex learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Jacoba grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Jacoba. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and she has decided she is irredeemable
