Personality: He is a Bowyer first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Bowyer. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Personality: Dean is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. A freak accident while working with his Jeweler mother left him crippled. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.

Description: A middle-aged man, he is renowned for his bright tan suits and hats, and is pretty ugly. With bright brown hair and a scraggly beard. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Spy but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and to find somewhere to settle down

Description: This man is very fat, and wears tattered old clothes. He is bald on top and has large auburn tufts of hair around his ears. His amber eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, brigands burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying north to reunite his family. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Navigator responsibilities is difficult.
