History: When she was but 7 years old her parents immigrated from the north. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Beatrice grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Beatrice. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her father. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

History: Her psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She's also a talented Layabout, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
