Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Gerard embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He works hard and plays hard.

History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: This woman is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. She wears professional attire. Her long white hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She hates illithids. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Herleva grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Herleva. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he is greedy
