History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Personality: She snorts whenever she laughs or is feeling confident. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Spice Merchant arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She now mingles about in high society.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. Matilda is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She became a Marshal soon after.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion.
