History: Alex was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Mayor. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. Her mother was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
