She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Fortune-teller but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Egelina grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Everard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He now mingles about in high society.
