History: Lance hails from a village terrorized by orcs. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Lance alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He became a Layabout soon after.

Melissa was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Locksmith they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Slave Trader, and she later adopted a second son.
