History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Heward was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He worked as a nervous Ploughman and found it very stressful. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Ploughman for hire.

History: Her necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
