History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Eva was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Eva decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: Hubert was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Butcher.

History: Geva hails from a village terrorized by giants. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To unite with her sister; and many giants want her driven away
