History: When she was but 4 years old her parents immigrated from the north. Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, drow burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying north to reunite her family. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Alice fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Many drow want her driven away.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Norman was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

Through the years after Katherine was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Katherine's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
