He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Her parents were killed by illithids in a raid when she was still a young child. The illithids captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She tends to her Masseuse job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: She wants revenge against illithids; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and he is wracked by social anxiety
