History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He moved out south to avoid the crime he committed. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Bertram fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: Juliana hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. Her parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when she was still a young child. The gnolls captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: Many gnolls want her driven away; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge
