History: Elysande was born in the south. At a young age she loved to build and create. She dropped out of school to support her sick father, and resented it. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Oriel was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
