Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Bertram grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Bertram. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Butcher arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has dedicated herself to building a better trade route.

History: He was born into a rich family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
