History: He was born at the edge of vast island. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Dean alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was granted druidic powers by his dying sister.

History: Born to a Beggar, her father struggled to pay the bills. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
