Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a tea of some kind. He wears baggy tan pantaloons and a pastel scarf, marred by teas. He sports a long blonde beard, and similarly colored long hair. His brown eyes peer out from beneath his wide-brimmed tan hat.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by brigands in a raid when he was still a young child. The brigands captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Chad was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the brigands.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. After a long history of fighting, Elizabeth and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs
