History: The child of a Tailor, who enjoyed hunting, Joan was taken on many hunting expeditions. Her mother took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She was born into a rich family. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. She has since lost track of the people in her past.
