History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Jeweler arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Roland alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. History: A powerful necromancer made her what she is. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Healer. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Jacoba is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was born at the edge of vast plains. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Navigator work with an outfit from a few towns over.
