History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A freak accident while working with his Engraver mother left him crippled. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away

History: Ella was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When Ella reached her early adolescence her Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions.
