History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it.

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She's also a talented Interpreter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has achieved small success as a Priest.

Motivation: Revenge; and a deep hatred of illithids

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his sickle with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. His white hair and beard is wavy and long. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He now owns his own business.
