History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Mary grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

History: Simon was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His first spouse was a Soapmaker, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
