Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Guard who has hired her part-time. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Guard work with an outfit from a few towns over. Guard work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Description: He wears blue leather gloves, a blue jacket, and tight pants, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 6'0" when asserting himself. He sports a flattop hair cut. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this eastern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Arnold was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Arnold grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Arnold. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He wears a tattered pair of loose white pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs. His black hair is greasy and uncared for. He has a dull look in his brown eyes.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. Balimaar enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Butcher hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and a strong sense of loyalty to human people

Description: A middle-aged woman, she wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized grey coat, and is pretty ugly. She has moderate length black hair. She wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her first spouse was a Mayor, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and an old rival family wants her found
