Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Adelard grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Roofer. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
